The Youth Policy Engagement program is designed to equip the youth in communities and the leaders with skills to engage in dialogue, discussions and debates in policy issues and topical issues of the day. It helps build the capacity of youth leaders to have confidence and skills in public speaking and engage in robust debate and dialogue defending the country’s policies.

The program will be carried out in communities and will help to build future leaders and unemployed youths to ensure that they remain patriotic and supportive of government policies while taking an active role in policy making and engagement processes. This will enable them to develop an appreciation of the relevance or significance of them to participate in policy making.

That way, they will be enticed to influence the policies that govern them. It also provides an opportunity for reintegrating youth back into society and develop leadership skills for the youth.
